Under normal circumstances, treatment with plasma surface treatment equipment will not cause damage to the material. Why do you say that?
Regarding the temperature of the plasma, the average energy of the particles is generally used to express the temperature. Generally, the temperature at which the collision between electrons reaches thermodynamic equilibrium is called Te, which is the temperature of electrons. The electron temperature is close to the ion temperature, which is a thermal plasma in a low-temperature plasma. However, the plasma generated during cleaning in a vacuum and low-pressure environment is often in a non-thermal equilibrium state, and the electron temperature is much higher than the ion temperature, which is a cold plasma in a low-temperature plasma.
Therefore, judging from the nature of the plasma generated by the plasma surface treatment equipment, the treatment of materials with it will generally not cause damage to the materials, but the influence of factors such as the heat-resistant temperature of the materials and the processing time needs to be taken into consideration.
