Characterization method of solid phase wettability of plasma technology:
The wettability of a solid surface is usually measured with a contact angle meter. The contact angle is defined as the angle between the tangent of the gas-liquid interface and the solid-liquid interface at the point of intersection of the gas-liquid-solid three-phase.
After plasma technology treats the solid surface, the contact angle can be used to quantitatively measure the wettability of the surface, and the contact angle can be directly measured by the contact angle measuring instrument. The following describes several wettability conditions of the contact angle. If the contact angle is equal to 0, it indicates that the object is completely wet and the liquid has auxiliary expansion on the solid surface. When the contact angle is greater than zero and less than 90 degrees, the surface has been partially wetted, indicating that the surface is hydrophilic. When the contact angle is 90 degrees, it is the dividing line of wetting, and when the contact angle is greater than 90 degrees, it is the hydrophobic contact angle without wetting. The liquid condenses into a large sphere on the solid surface. When the contact angle is equal to 180 degrees, it is completely non-wetting. When the contact angle of the liquid on the solid surface is greater than 150 degrees, it is a superhydrophobic contact angle.
Adsorption on solid surface:
Like liquids, the force field of atoms or molecules on the solid surface is not uniform, so the solid surface also has surface tension and surface energy, but the solid molecules or atoms cannot move freely.

Solid surface molecules are difficult to move, and solid surface molecules are not as easy to shrink and deform as liquids. Therefore, it is very difficult to directly measure solid surface tension. Any surface has a tendency to spontaneously reduce surface energy. Since solid surface is difficult to shrink, only use to reduce interfacial tension The method to reduce the surface energy is also the root cause of the adsorption effect on the solid surface. Of course, it is not absolute that the molecules or atoms on the solid surface cannot move. Under high pressure, almost all atoms on the metal surface will flow. At this time, the sharp peaks and corners of many solid surfaces will become blunt, or a fusion phenomenon will occur. During processing or crystal formation, the crystal surface must always be the crystal face with the lowest free enthalpy to be the most stable.
